Help! Need a new intake!

Ok here's the thing, I have a Firebird, and I'm sure y'all know about how much that little side box and the air duct suck

I'm planning on getting a K&N cone filter, and with this is mind i was thinking... hey why don't I get a full K&N intake? Well they don't have them.... so.... is there any other ones out there or am I better off making one?

Any ideas you guys could pass along would be greatly appreciated, and pictures too of your intakes if possible. Thanks in advance.

PS: I'm not interested in getting a new hood for my intake here, just a good stock replacement.

They do not exist unless you buy a duplicate intake of your version and open it up (port it).
During my 3.4 swap, I tried, for about 10 minutes to use the 1995 3.4 intake one I got with my engine.
Nope.
Bummer.
Oh well.

The only advice I have is that when you make it make sure you keep the cone as far from the engine as possible. This will help get the coldest air you can.

The best intake is the one mentioned in the tech section; look for the article about making a ram-air for TPI. (85-89 Camaro V6's have the same intake design as the TPI V8's.)
