Re: Please help !!
if it is the connector broke on the knock sensor you can buy a better style replacement plug from orileys. they tend to have them in stock for like 11 bucks

LOL at that one ...
Thanks guys for the info......
Well I changed the connector and took it to get gas and the damn thing would not start and once I got it started I had to give it gas and ride the brakes .

Re: Please help !!
Possibly a bad knock sensor, if it's still giving you code 43. You DID reset the ECM by disconnecting the battery for a minute, didn't you?

Re: Please help !!
:edited: Apparently it runs, so that was not necessary.
Check for a LARGE vacuum leak somewhere, possibly a disconnected brake booster hose.

Re: Please help !!
Put a new set of plugs in... The ones you have may be too fouled to work. Also put a DMM on every plug wire and make sure none of them reads over 20K ohms. Followed by checking the resistance on each bank of injectors (pink wires to the blue and green wires in the harness connector, engine side, not harness side... yellow and black are for the CTS), should read 4 ohms, or close to it, per bank (left and right side of engine).

Re: Please help !!
Well I soaked the plugs in carb cleaner overnight and put a bit of sandpaper to them and reinstalled then and now works like a charm .
