o2 wire length?
Anybody know the total length from sensor to ECM? Or better yet, length from sensor to plug?
Installing a heated o2 and re-doing the connector. My current wire setup probably isn't even the right length, and I don't have an original single wire o2 to look at.

Re: o2 wire length?
No need. Looks like they vary a little depending on manufacturer once I found some listing online. I found two of my old sensors, and there's about an inch difference (bosch and delco). I remember the stock replacement single wire o2's barely reaching because of sensor placement with the headers, so I'll try to get this about the same, but with a tad of slack.
Hopefully an extra inch won't screw up the reading too much.

Re: o2 wire length?
Stuck now until tomorrow anyway. I'm trying to use a GM 4wire plug that came with the o2 I'm installing, and pulled the other half of the plug off a truck at the junkyard.
Pulled the signal wire connector out of the plug, wrecking the lock tab, but figuring the plastic lock would keep it in, and I'd just solder the harness wire right onto the crimp.
I cut the stock plug off. Anyway, it's just not possible to secure the connector to the wire and get a decent solder where it's at (if I don't drip solder onto my face).
Hopefully I can find another connector at the big electronics specialty store tomorrow, crimp it onto the bare wire enough to hold it, and them maybe I'll be able to solder it easier and insert it back into the new plug.
I'll try soldering it from above first once it's crimped, but there's just too much crap in the way up there too, and it's impossible to peel it back from the harness.
will check the fuel pressure, timing, and replace the fuel filter tomorrow too. Hesitates a bit when accelerating, is gutless, and mileage is dropping.
