Fuel System questions
The end of March, I plan on taking a week off from work and getting the undercar brake and fuel lines taken care of (mock-up only as I'm probably going to have to send the car to be sandblasted). My question is this:
From my understanding, our cars use a 3/8" supply side and a 5/16" return side on the fuel system, with another 5/16" line for vapor vent (to the charcoal can, not the tank pressure vent by the rear wheel). I'm planning on going with full stainless lines and hoses with AN fittings. From my understanding, -6 AN is 3/8" line and hose, but what do I do about the return and vapor lines? Get an adaptor? Yes, I plan on getting the WOT-Tech AN fuel line adaptors for the fuel rail, and I think I need 11 fittings in total (excluding the vapor line, which probably makes 14-15 total) for a system using an external fuel pump and remote FPR. I'm not buying prebent line for $200+, I'll be buying 25' coils of stainless fuel line for $110 and cutting/bending them myself as I'd end up cutting the replacement prebent anyways for the fuel pump (going to be mounted in the same pocket as the fuel filter was on a custom bracket). I'll do the same for the brake lines when the time comes.

Re: Fuel System questions
Just run -6 all around. I've looked into doing it before a while back, still plan to, probably when I do the floor pan.

Yeah, I did some research into AN sizes and that's what I'm going to have to do, I suppose, as AN-8 is 1/2" and a bit too big for the pressure hose. Now, if I could find out what AN size the heater adaptor is, I'll be set.
Reminds me that I still need to get a plug for the intake heater bypass pipe I removed because it's useless to me...

Re: Fuel System questions
Sorry to dip in without shedding some information on your thread (I only use double flares, and unions) but quick question about the a/c delete, so the power steering is only held in place on the cylinder head by one bolt when you move the bracket up? Is that safe?

Re: Fuel System questions
2 bolts... one is in the water pump. If you're decent with fabrication, you may want to fab up a rear bracket for it by bending a piece of flat steel. If I can make it back to that particular J/Y with the factory A/C delete car, I'm probably going to grab that one (if the car hasn't been crushed yet) and get pics of the differences.
You're probably going to want to go to a hardware store and get a harder bolt for it for the upper mount.
