my 91 3.1 RS

its leaking coolant out of the water outlet on the top of the engine.....you can see it slightly dripping while its at idle but when you rev it it pours out.....


i replaced the top radiador hose but thats obviously not the problem....is it the water outlet itsself? and exactly hos is the hose supposed to be hooked up? there is a little stopper thing on the neck is that right?

 

Sounds like it is the port for the heater hose. If so there is a repair kit for it. GM has them (or used to). I've also seen that same kit on the Help Rack. Consists of a new metal fitting, clip and o-ring.
