camaro 91 rpm

hello! need some help please i get my Camaro running again but now this problem with the rpm are to high 8500 the needle pass the gauge reading
i replace the injector, to get i run there is no vacuum leak i check it out, the AIC valve is working the car run good there is any way to reset the computer on the car give any way to work around it

u can try to take the gauges out and pu the pointer back to zero, sometimes that works.

is the pointer at 0 with the engine off or is it stuck at like 3000,4000 etc

WELL THIS PART OF THE PROBLEM WHEN TURN THE CAR OFF THE GAUGE GO BACK TO ZERO, I DON'T THINK THAT GAUGE IS STUCK BUT WHEN I START AGAIN GO UP TO 4000 RPM WHEN I DRIVE PASSES THE GAUGE LIMITS, THE CAR RUM GREAT, GOOD POWER, THE MOTOR DO NOT SOUND FORCE OR OVER LOAD

THIS IS ANOTHER THINK THAT DI I BLOCK THE AIR ON THE INTAKE OR TROUBLE AND CAR TURN OFF FAST SO THAT MAKE ME THINK THAT DON'T HAVE A VACUUM LEAK

Go to the electronics board here, at the top in the stickies is a thread on how to fix the tachometer. This is a common issue.
