thats just a heater hose pipe unfortunatly u cant buy those anymore.
those 2 pipes that come off the big one run up to the throttle body to heat the bottom of it so the throttle dont stick closed in the winter
unless u live were its like 15* or lower in the winter u dont have to hook those up
what u can do is goto the parts store and get a barbed heater hose fitting, it will have pipe threads on one side and a barbed fitting for clamping a hose on the other end.
to use it just remove the fitting out of the intake and replace it with the new fitting and get a longer hose to connect from there to the heater core up on the firewall

That is pretty much what I did, its 1/2" pipe thread fitting if memory serves, I am sure about the pipe thread but don't take my recollection for perfect as far as what size it was.

I did the same thing that project89 is saying. Got the parts at napa. Cost very little.Originally Posted by Pointform

yup thats the normal repair, if the hose turns to tight u can goto the hardware store and get a 2 inch 1/2inch pipe nipple that will screw into the intake then u screw a 90 fitting on the end of that, then u screw the brass hose barb onto that and reconect the hose.
looks liek u dont have an issue with the hose collapsing though so u should be good just the way u have it

Looks just like mine although I reused a 90 degree bend hose
