Worst luck...

So I was wonder why my vacuum was low around 14-15, sometimes had a hard start, and wanted to do my valve stem seals so I decided to buy a kit and do work!

Took it all apart, cleaned every part, and took precaution on everything.

Got it together no ticking btw (1 full turn after zero lash), ran great for two start ups which were about 10 minutes each, still had a 14-15 vacuum. Went out on my third start-up car died 1 minute after it started. Couldn't find out why, everything was put together correctly. Car was really low on gas so I walked to the gas station and got 2 gallons. Nada. Checked for spark --- had none.

I was pissed, new distributor, new ignition coil, checked for voltage all that razzle. Decided to take my 5 month old distributor to get the ICM tested their machine was broke. Went to 5 different stores at every store there ICM machine had a problem (no power cable, broken harness wire, didnt work). Not 1 employee every used it before. I called my buddy over he owns an 85 Buick. Swaped in his ICM, fired right up...brighter lights, 17 in vacuum ROCK STEADY, sounded different and everything. AMAZING my problem was in a piece of **** brand new distributor ICM...****ing eh..
