Got the bug,want opinions
Hello again. It seems like just a week or two I joined looking for help with my '88 Camaro. Well it seems that the 3rd gen bug has a nasty toxin in its bite because now I'm looking at buying an '87 Firebird to use as a DD while I work out the bugs in my camaro. It's an '87 Firebird,2.8L, 5 speed.
The thing that I'd like your opinions on is this. I talked to the owner today about the car and she said it has been her daily driver for a couple of years now. 2 weeks ago ( or so ) she had a new starter put on the car. After changing the starter the idle has dropped real low. I just can't wrap my head around what would cause that unless whoever did the starter pinched a wire somewhere or unplugged something.
So, anybody have any wild assed guesses what might have caused this?
Thanks
