The threaded thing. its at the back of the plenum, right in front of the distibutor. Thanks in advance guys. sorry im 18 and learning everything as i go.

I believe it is a purge valve. Not 100% sure, I haven't had a huge amount of time with the 3.1 top end.

Its just a tap for the fuel rail. Theres a cap that goes onto it. Like a tire valve cap but larger.

Is just a test port, nothing is needed to go there, though a cap would be a good idea.
You can find caps to go on there on '95 to 2002 (maybe slightly earlier and slightly later as well), 3100 and 3400s in many FWD vehicles. Some are plastic, some are aluminum.
For reference these have the same thread as -4 AN fittings.
