Im thinking about doing this swap but before i go and spend lots of money i am wondering if the harness is direct plug in. Ive done tons of research but no one has addressed anything about the harness. Will i have to pull the harness with the new engine or will the one that is in the car work. I have a 92'

The common swap is to use your(92) original intake, distributor, & exhaust manifolds on the 3.4L. Then you use the 3.4l injectors & the 92 harness.

Another quick thing, If i get a 3.4 why cant i use the 3.4 exhaust manifolds? and will i have to worry about my driveshaft being to long or to short?

 

Engine bolts onto the same mounts, so no change in the driveshaft length.
I know on some engines like the 2.8/3.1 mpi engines, the exhaust manifolds have egr hook ups or other emissions fittings.

 

Ah yes, that makes sense, Hopefully i dont break the bolts =/
