fuel rail

hey ive had a few third gens in my life but i bought a 94 this time and i think the o rings on the fuel injectors r leaking its a 94 3.4l v6 what are the steps in pulling out the fuel rail hopefully with out pulling the upper intake

u have to pull the upper its a pretty simple task to do once u get the upper off there r 2 bolts iirc that hold the fuel rail down , once the bolts are out u will need a large screwdriver or small prybar to get the fuel rail up

They can leak for reasons of age, but often when someone is careless replacing an injector, they rip the o-rings putting them in. Particularly on the ones that go into the fuel rail- the holes in the fuel rail have very sharp edges. Use a little petroleum jelly on them prior to instillation...

I meant why does the OP think they are leaking? What's the symptom? Is there gas seeping from the rail anywhere?

If there leaking he would know it. I had mine leak before because I didnt seat them properly... it was a gassy mess.

Exactly. OP "thinks" they are leaking. No point pulling it apart if it's really something else.
