ok i dont exactly know were this goes but here it is. im planning on ripping the t5 and hardware out of a junked 95 3.4 bird and putting it into my 1992 3.1 firebird. but ive hit a road block i need to know what do i do about a computer and what do i get to calibrate the speedo. can i use the 4th gen ecm or what someone help this is the first time ive done this and i wana do it right the first time.

 

You can't use the ECM out of a 4th gen because those are SFI, ours are MPFI. You need to get an ECM out of another 92 3.1 with a manual trans, or at least the memcal. Try hitting up the classifieds, see what you can find there.
