Emergency: Power steering pulley
So, here's the deal. The power steering pulley flew right the @#$% off my car this afternoon.
No, I don't know where it is.
Does anyone have a source, a part number, or the dimensions of the power steering pump pulley for a 1987 Camaro with the 2.8 v6?
Thanks as always in advance.

Re: Emergency: Power steering pulley
Good luck finding one. The P/N for it is no longer valid AND no longer in stock at GM. And nobody makes new ones. Best bet is a junkyard. I tried getting a replacement for mine a while back, and had a couple leads on here but one went missing before being sold and the other lead led to a dead end because of no puller. I suppose you could try another pulley off of a different pump (say a 3100 or something) but there isn't any guarantee it will work.

go to a local parts store and find a shorter belt to bypass the pump until you can find a part. car will be driveable. its not horrible to drive with out power steering. I had the ps bracket break in 2009. try ebay for parts maybe a shot in the dark.
