replacing some things
replacing some things
So I decided to finally replace the spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor... Problem is old rotor is stuck on there. I want to pry it off but I think it would damage the distributor. The distributor is a factory one that is rusted on to it. Also when I did change the plugs looked like some oil was on it.. the car is my project car... And what are the specs of the gap the plugs need to be?

At that point I would replace the whole dizzy and return the rotor and cap. If its that bad, the pickup coil and icm are sure to be bad/almost gone.
Oil on plugs could be a number of things, oil in the spark plug hole threads so when you take it out the oil gets on the plug, bad valve seals, bad piston rings, etc.
I would suggest a compression check to narrow it down more.
IIRC, .045 on the plugs.
