Tune up time... which cap and rotor? ACDelco shows 2 part numbers...?
Doing a tune up on the 83 V6 and I'm not sure what the difference is with the two different numbers on each the cap & rotor.
Going with all ACDelco stuff. Always had good luck.
The cap is either part number D341X or C582.
The rotor is either part number D434X or D556A.
Might just be different part numbers for the same parts but when ordering online it's best to know first as returns are a pain!!

Can you look at yours and get the number? That's typically my go to if there are multiple parts.

I don't see any numbers on the old cap unless they're molded somewhere weird!
Comparing the pics... they look identical. But then again, they usually use stock photos so that's moot.
I'll have to call around and see if any parts stores have both I guess!
Woes of owning a motor that's dead to the world lol

Haha, usually the cap has a sticker on the front or backside that has the p/n on it, as for the rotor, well, I'm not sure.
I've had good luck calling places like Jegs or Napa (even if I don't order a part from them) just because you have a better chance of speaking to that "old guy who knows his stuff" at one of those places than at your run-of-the-mill autozone. That's how I figured out which U-joints my car took.
good luck! lol
