My wife has a 89 Camaro 2.8 v6. The check engine light comes on at times but i cut the car off and restart and the light goes off. It has been doing this for months. Now it has a hesitation when accelerating. I checked the codes and the only code is 34 for the maf. I tested the maf with a voltmeter and its getting 12v at the hot wire and the ground is good. The signal wire shows 5 volts and 2.5volts running but doesn't increase when accelerating. It is a 3 wire maf part number 25007557. Is this the right way to test this maf? Thanks!
