oh ok. i have removed the charcoal canister and egr system and took all the pipes back until i hit some electrics, hence its still there. i didnt want to upset the computer.
does it matter if it is connected to the harness or not ? shall i just get it out of the way like everything else ?
Not sure. If it's plugged in and the vac lines are plugged you may not throw a code. I would guess if you unplug it you'd get a check engine light though. You may experience some detonation with it removed since the ECU expects it to be there working along side the other sensors that adjust air/fuel. I can't speak to the V6 cars, but it's pretty simple to get a chip burned with the EGR tuned out for the V8 cars.
