I've had more trouble using this BS set up that Camaro Hunter D has been creatign a demanded product by a few.
CHD is getting the proper bender for Christmas.
He's still outsourcing the pipes to bend.
He's in business.
JUST LIKE ANY OTHER BUSINESS at start up, he has a hic-cup.
Or else like many others trying to get to say hi, here.
How many passwords need I get today?
IF ya really want a great product, too, send your manifolds to Extrude Hone.
They'll make them into headers,legally.
A pretty penny, but, that's seems to be the ONLY legal way to get headers.
While you're at it, send Extrude Hone your intake system and the heads.
Get everything instantly ported and polished, with matching flow rates.
Then obtain a 3.4 block with the matching injectors and Hi Po ignitin system, then have fun.
Don't forget to add an Edelbrock exhaust system and Performance for Power Cat Convertor.
The cost for Extrude Hone is close to $600-$700.
IF we got alot of people together, the cost would go down. I spoke to Extrude Hone and they would cut us a deal. Like quantity of 5-10, with guaranteed 50% down.

I am still doing these and yes I am having a bit of trouble. I was saying I thought I would have them out bynow because the salesperson I had talked to on the 1st bender I bought said it would work for what I was using. It did'nt. I am now waiting for moey from unemployment to kick in since I lost my job (Slow down) so I can get the monies for the bender I have been qaruanteed that will work(Or double my money back!). I am more frustrated then you guys trust me. I have 30 some odd feet of tubing sitting in my garage for the past 3-4 Weeks collecting dust. After I get a few made I will look into the EPA regulations(I have an in-law that is head of EPA in Illinois) to see what s needed for CARB certifacation. I am leaving the EGR System intact(But it is an option to not have the tube) so I am not altering the system for the vast majority.
I am also going to alter the headers after the first couple sets cause I want to have them shorter for fewer install probs. Like not having to have the car on a lift(Besides to the the old Y-Pipe off.)
Anyway this is whats going on with them.

CARB certification process?
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I believe the process involves several attempts to make the "aftermarket" item, last for a minimum of 50,000 miles without any alteration/increase of emissions.
Realize this.
SEVERAL manufactures made headers for our V-6 in the F Body series.
NO ONE certified them w/CARB
ONLY Edelbrock made CARB cert'd for the S-10 Blazer series.
Why?
Certification specs were "less stringent" due to vehicle is a "truck".
TomP pointed out that detail and it is a valid point.
Good thought, but, I HOPE ya hear otherwise.
I back ya in the effort you're putting out.
Bummer about unemployment BS.
It's in the mail, along with the Christmas stuff!

To me....
It would be getting an approved foundation (Vehicle) to run the test with.
This vehicle (1985 - 1992 F Body) is
Outta production for 10 years
Engine no longer offered, I believe, in US market.
When Edelbrock did their 2.8 legal headers/intakes, the S-10 Blazer series was a hot item and they "made" & went thru the "hoops" for that market share.
I never got a response why Edelbrock was not interested in the F-Body market share, also.
I still cheer ya on.
I'd like to know, if what I've heard is kinda correct (the 50,000 mile duration testing).
I believe what else will be determining factor is how quickly the CC lights up (starts working to remove pollutants).
Headers tend to loose heat rapidly. Thin Wall Design Tubing.
