Fuel Problems.
Hey I'm new to this site and I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right area. I just bought a 89 iroc but it has the 2.8 v6. Not getting power to fuel pump when the key is turned on. However when we run a hot wire to the fuel pump relay it turns on and starts right up as long as the hot wire stays attached. Where could I be losing my power to my fuel pump? Also while it is running it idles and revs fine but after it runs a while and you kill it, it will not start back without a small shot of carb cleaner but when it gets running it runs fine. So I guess I have 2 questions. Why am I not getting fire to my fuel pump and why will it not start alone without prime after its ran a few minutes? Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: Fuel Problems.
Hi there,
Check the fuse up near the battery, on the wall inside the front fender. there are two fuses, one is for the fuel pump relay, next to a ground wire. This often gets overlooked.
