TomP's Major Tune-up PARTS HELP
TomP's Major Tune-up PARTS HELP
Doing TomP's major tune-up list while changing out my head gaskets, but I need some help with choosing aftermarket parts.
Want to know what brands are good for replacement of:
Dist Cap/Rotor
Spark Plugs
Plug Wires
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Also should I change the ignition coil while i'm at it, and what coil should I get too if I should. Thanks.

I am a big fan on AC-delco myself as far as plugs go. I would say welds or AC-delco distributor, Try to avoid accel distributor's.
A tip when replacing the PCV vavle buy straight from GM, or AC-Delco. I bought an aftermarket one, and my car pumped out oil throught the front seal in the crank. well after I replaced the seal still pumped oil out so I put the old PCV back in and the Cheap *** aftermarket one caused me all this grief... so go cheap but not too cheap....
