2.8l Power Loss
I have an '86 2.8l 5 speed that, once warmed up, gives me issues at low RPM's. It is like it is starving for fuel. It almost feels like when you are learning to drive a manual trans car and the car bucks on you. Seems like when you really put your foot into it it does OK. I have replaced the fuel filter and no improvement and cleaned the MAF. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm kinda having the same issue with my 89. Like if you barely give it throttle it bucks and surges. Like a nasty miss.

Re: 2.8l Power Loss
Just checked timing ind it is at 8 degrees. It should be at 10. Will 2 degrees make that much difference? Incidentally, I heard a little strange noise from the distributor cap. I wil swap that out in the next day or so.
