Cold Air Intake hose routing

Cold Air Intake hose routing
A previous owner added a CAI to my Firebird (2.8l V6) and it looks like a hack job.
On the passengers side of the engine the valve cover has a hard line coming out of it, looks like a pcv valve, and it goes nowhere. It is just an open tube.
On the throttle body inlet tube there are 2 provisions for sensors. One of them has something plugged into it but the other one has a bolt stuck into it.
I have the Haynes manual for this car but the Emissions picture (page 6-2) doesn't show what I am looking for.
I have attached pictures of my car and any input and guidance on where things should be properly plugged into would be helpful.

the tube with a bolt screwed into it
this hardline runs from the valve cover to , nowhere.
another view of the hardline to nowhere.

Been while but I believe that is the PVC line it should go in where that bolt is on the other side looks like they turned the hose 180 for some reason. Also looks like they extended the IAC wiring so it would reach.
