Engine bay wire harness compatibility

Hi everyone have a question I'm swapping the motor from an 88 parts car to my 89 and would like to swap the engine bay wiring harnesses are they the same. The engine bay harnesses in my 89 were mangled by the last owner I have repaired them but would like to use the harnesses from the 88 because they have been untouched.. are the wire harnesses the same between the two years.. same motor same trans.
the two cars are almost identical other than my 89 has vat and no AC.
Thanks for the help

Re: Engine bay wire harness compatibility

An '88 harness does not match up to an '89 too many different changes.
