Needle of the rev counter is moving a little bit in idle

Hi,

do you have the same issue with your Firebird or Camaro 3.1 LH0?

I don't understand what the reason is. What could be wrong with the engine?

Thanks.

Likely nothing wrong with the engine. The tachometer is probably just old and the capacitors are drying out so the bedding built in isn't as good as it used to be.

The 2.8/3.1 engine idle weird from my experience. A little movement of the rpms is normal.
