Re: smog pump delete

that is a very broad question... I will start with "don't cut any wires, tuck away, hide in the loom but don't cut".

Re: smog pump delete

Why is this in the V6 forum?

OP has 3 posts.

Profile lists 5.0 motor.

Not trying to be a dick here , BUT ! ;

Just the simple fact of you asking that question proves beyond any reasonable doubt that you have no business even opening the hood with "removing smog crap" in mind . You will turn a normally running car into a badly running POS that'll end up as a parts car , like thousands of "boy racer" types before you have done .

PS , W.E.G. has got a good point here also , if you can't even post a question to the appropriate subforum here , how are we to ever believe you'll have the electronic acumen to handle the REQUIRED ecm tuning that a "smog delete" entails ?

Harsh ? Maybe even a bit rude ? You bet !!!! "Tough love" isn't supposed to come candy coated , hence the operative word "Tough" ......

Re: smog pump delete

I take back my previous advice... I want to start with "ask this question in the correct spot on the forum".
