Hypertech 160* Stat...Worth it?
No
Don't pay what they want. Stat's are only like $3 from autoparts places. They make your car run a lil bit cooler (Stock is 195) and thus provide more power. Couple of things to consider:
1. 220 is the optimal power temperature for all engines.....yet lowered stats provide more power....odd?
2. 160 will keep your computer in closed loop unless your chip is programmed for it, and will keep your *** cold in the winter.
3. 180 seems to be a popular go between.
Hope I helped.
