does anyone know a web site or a catalog i can get for 3rd gen f-body headers?? i've been looking for headers for my 3.1mpfi, but i haven't been able to find any, and on the passenger side, there's a box that goes on the exhaust manifold, with some wires connected to it, if i had gotten headers, what would i do with the box???

 

That box is your electronic EGR, you need that or your car will rin like crap. As far as Headers unless you buy 3.4L or S-10 Headers and do a fair amount of modifications to them, there are no headers avaible for our Thirdgen V-6's.

They use to make them. So once and a while they appear on E-bay, so if you keep a close watch you might find a used set.

 

Your car won't run like crap without the EGR. It's an emissions control device. It helps your car run cleaner by reducing cylinder temperatures. If you live somewhere that doesn't check emissions you can get away with it(wouldn't recommend it though).

Anyway, unless they're custom , you're not gonna find any headers for a 60* engine.


I think there should be an "announcment" at the top of the V6 Board that says "You're not gonna find 60* V6 headers".
