I remember back in about 2003 I raced a 1992 z28 with my little ole 3.1l 1991 RS. I dusted him for 1/8 mile after that I was screwed. He blew by me.
But a turd 305 that had like what 165hp.. it will be a close one. Depends on driver.. tires... mechanicals. I'll bet on the 3.1l just because of the 3.23 gears itll have

I had a 92 305 tbi and an 85 2.8, both in mechanically sound shape at the same time, and they'd both hit 90mph at exactly the same spot on my old road.
