Saw this oddity on a car for sale.

I am just guessing that this is either a really well made home built intake, or these maybe were in production back in the days when Fiero kit cars were the rage.

Looks to be a home made job to be. With the Edelbrock valve covers and what appears to be headers, guessing they were trying to mimic the TPI and add some grunt to that little 2.8 lol

Yeah, there was a member on here way back when that used to make those.

You might come across a few here and there. I believe this one was setup for a Fiero...

Yes, that's exactly what that is. There was a member on here back in the day that made turbo kits for the 2.8/3.1, but also made intake manifolds. I forget his username, but he made something similar if I remember correctly. Anyways yes, it is a Trueleo intake. They always reminded me of the Gene Simmons electronic killer spiders from the movie Runaway back in the 80's...
