When I first start my 86 Camaro V6 engine it does not want to idle properly or steady and sometimes shuts off. What part or sensor should I be looking into to correct the problem?
When the engine is hot it idles fine.
Problem solved: Bad ground connection at Battery to engine block.

 

Car requires more fuel when cold so check fuel pressure. Idle Air Control and Throttle Position Sensor are possible issue. Check for vacuum leak with spray of carb cleaner when cold.
