oil preasure

Hello from Spain.
What is the correct oil pressure with the car idling?
sometimes it goes to about 1000 rpm and other times to 2200 rpm, and the oil pressure to the maximum. Thank you

Re: oil preasure

It depends on the temperature of the oil. The stock "trim package" isn't very accurate. The pressure doesn't much matter as long as it's not zero or close to zero. Is the engine in some kind of distress?

OK.
The machine give me the 22 code. Steering column low. And the idle it's slow and the car stops sometimes. But it was stopped since 8 years.
