V8 Radiator swap with a V6
V8 Radiator swap with a V6
Hey, Guys!
I have a 1989 2.8L V6 Firebird. Recently, my radiator became clogged. I found one online and purchased it. However, to my dismay, the radiator configuration is swapped, as it is actually meant for a V8 (my bad). Is it possible to put the two together? My only concern is the sharp angle it’ll cause off the water pump. Any help or know-how is deeply appreciated.

IIRC you can just buy upper and lower radiator hoses from the 3.1 liter V6. The 3.1 V6 has the same radiator as the V8.

What about the Automatic Transmission lines. My 2.8 V6 trans lines are on the passenger side.
