1989 2.8L Camaro RS NEED HELP!!!

To start things off, I'm very new to cars and engines but know enough to understand.
my 1989 2.8 v6 Camaro (auto) is starting to make some noises.

I recently took my car out of winter storage about 30 mins away from my house.
I drove it home fine for a while until it stalled when I was slowing down.
when I crank it back up, it makes sounds like this (audio file attached)
My oil was slightly below the minimum line and I'm suspecting this is to blame.
haven't driven it since, hoping not to put a hole in the block.
is this just a case of rod knock? or is there another sound it could be? and what I should do next?

Sounds like a rod. Bottom end noises always sound heavier to me.
If it were me I would narrow it down to a specific cylinder. And look into it from there.

I was just talking about a 2.8 camaro the other day. I don't know a whole lot about that engine, I didn't know if it was a smaller buick design, or chevy bolt pattern.

Its a chevy designed motor

OP Sounds bad... put oil in and see what it does... did you check the oil before you drove it?

Did an entire oil change once I got back, still made same noise. Drove it without checking oil first, which probably was my mistake. Wasn't any signs of oil leaks where I had it stored so I assumed it was good.
