Dumb question

Can I put 12 volts straight to coil and start up

Engine: 350 with L-69 components

Transmission: 700R-4, 2000 RPM stall converter

Axle/Gears: 10-bolt/3.73 ..

It already has 12 volts on it when you turn the key. It's the pink 12 gauge wire...

I am losing it somewhere and i just want to make it run till i move it to pull the v6 and computer out I won't be using it
