I have a ‘92 Camaro TPI intake that I’m going to install on a 3.1L engine in an ‘88 S10 Blazer. ECU will be a Holley Terminator-X.
I believe this funky “canister” in the middle of the hard feed line is the fuel damper:
Im reading that all the damper does is smooth out injector-caused pulses in the feed line, potentially reducing noise. Is that all it does - quiet things down? Is it rebuildable (does that cap just pry off?)? Is it necessary for proper function?
