Temperatures on manifold to pipe connection

Hi there,

hope you can help me with the following:

After a 1,5 hour drive including a highway, 130kmh (80mph) max, I have measured a temperature on the manifold to pipe connector on the driver’s side of 326°C (618°F), and at the same time 395°C (743°F) on the passenger’s side.

1992 Firebird V6 (3.1l).

My questions:
Is the 395°C/743°F temp acceptable on this position?
Is the difference between left and right acceptable?

If not, what could be wrong?

Thank you!
Firerat
