I have had good luck with NEW starters from Autozone and OReillys. NOT to be confused with the "reman" garbage.

Old thread but I bit the bullet and bought a new (not reman) ACDelco starter on rockauto 6 months ago. Been holding up great so far.

If you're having frequent starter failures, that's not a starter problem, you probably have poor battery cables/bad battery or a mechanical issue with the flexplate/flywheel, depending on exactly what is failing.
