Feels like cruise is on over 20mph?!?
Hi all.
A friend of mine is having a weird problem with his 3.1 V6. He says it has a misfire / runs a little rough and over revs also. And when he gets over 20mph it's like the car is pulling itself along. He doesn't need to touch the accelerator pedal.
He's replaced the TPS, IAC, checked for vac leaks. Timing is correct. It had new plugs and leads last year. Fuel pressure has been checked and is fine. Hes starting to give up

He should try disconnect the cruise control linkage at the TB and see if that makes a difference. That way you can rule it out
