i paid $275 plus $30 for a throw-out bearing from Jegs

yes the pedal is quite a bit stiffer

it mite be pretty hard...............i know though i was able to lift my tranny by hand, so you mite not need a jack, but i would reccomend it.........also, the worst part is getting the torque arm back onto the rear end because its a b!tch to line up the bolt holes

all in all, last time i replaced the clutch i found myself dragging along because i did not re-attach the stuff in correct order

here's the order in which to connect everything:

obviously tranny and everything inside of it first

then put the driveshaft back up

then connect the torque arm

then finally put the crossmember back on

i reccomend this order, because the first time i ever did my clutch, i did it in a different order, had to dis-assemble this again, and start over, because if you put the crossmember back on first...........................goodluck getting to the bolts!!!!!!!!

what you will need is a propstand to prop up the rear end when you are reattaching the torque arm because when you remove the arm the first time the rear end will tilt upward

IF you need to replace your clutch, i can not stress how much better this is than an OEM design
