pre 86 vs. 86 on up 60* questions on compatability

now heres the thing. i know that the rod journals are different. but are all the intakes compatible. heres the thing. ive got an 86 block, and in edelbrock catolouge i have the have an intake for 4 brrls. for 82-85 and i am going to go non computer controlled. with a custom supercharger(way in the futer, car wont be done for years) but my question is will the manifold fit my block.

Honest, go buy a V-8 car and dump this project.
Don't be mad.
Don't try to be a hero
Don't spend ALL THAT MONEY.
V-8 3rd gen, rust free out here, go for under $500.

not a chance. ill never go v8 with this camaro, and i aitn selliing in (sentamental value). i love my 6we had it making 220 hp last time i had it on the road. think of what i can do with a supercharger, call me wierd but i prefer the 60* motors.

anyways, yes the connecting rod journals are different size and there is no place for a mechanial fuel pump on the block, but are the intakes interchangable?

My 85 S-10 Blazer block has a fuel pump
My 85 Blazer also has the BIG crank stuff to.
IT's supposedly the H-D block.
Wish I could cheaply bore it to a 3.4!
But I already know I can't.
Please don't bother with the links to those places.
I'd rather buy a running 3.4 for way less. Like $800 or less.
Intake all swap.
I put 85 MPFI heads on my S-10 intake stuff. The 2 bbl thing.
Everythign fit perfect.
Swap with no fear.
220HP?
ok
