Got Me Headers!!!!!!!!!!
they came UPS yesterday
it looks like they should fit............they look bigger in person.........................but they look like they will clear everything just fine
cant wait to get the Z28 so i can drive that while the exhaust shop does my custom exhaust work (y-pipe, and a straighter pipe to the muffler............................need to also weld a pipe on so i can still run the EGR.............

I wonder if you'll need a heated oxygen sensor when you get these installed. It's a common V8 thing... headers run cooler than manifolds, and in the "stock" location, an oxygen sensor won't reach it's operating temp with headers. So the V8 guys buy the heated oxy sensor... it's the same sensor, but with two extra wires. One wire goes to ground. The other wire goes through a relay and a fuse to the car battery. When you turn the car on, you turn the relay on (probably via the ignition fuse, which is hot when the car's starting), which turns on the oxy sensor, which heats the oxy sensor.
Teal, let me know where you got the gaskets and all the other stuff to install the headers. I saw in the Jugs catalog they sold Bolt-On collectors with oxygen sensor fittings. Let me know how everything goes, because I cant wait to get mine installed in the summer. Peace.
19991teal... where are you taking your car to have the exhaust done? Somewhere up in Brick or closer down here? I need to find a cheap reputable shop around here that'll do it for me when I get mine.

well, the headers i am going to put on myself.......the exhaust work.......wherever will take it.............i think meineke will probably do it for a fair price........thats where i had my flowmaster put on
TomP, that sounds like a theory...........just might have to do that! other wise my O2 sensor will give a reading that will calibrate wrong with the ECM
