Does anyone have a part number for the belt tensioner on a '92 3.1L. I belive it's the same tensioner on the 2.8L. Well they look the same.

Mine is starting to come a part. I don't know how much longer it will stay on the car. Hopefull until this weekend.

I actually find it kinda funny. Every thing on the inside of the engine is fine, but stuff that is on the out side of it are starting to go bad. I don't trust the belt life reading on the tensioner becuase of this.

 

No part number but NAPA can hook you up with a replacement. I did mine about a year ago. Easy and not very expensive, but let it break and you're down.
