new wheels, will they fit right?

ok, a buddy of mine has 3 of 4 prime wheels, they're the 5spoke style in a machine finish. He bought them off a 69 camaro, but ended up not using them, is selling them to me for $15.00 which isn't bad, but if i go and buy that 4th wheel i want to know if they'll fit the bird. The wheels are 15in, by 8.5in. And my other question is will my 215-65-R15's fit on this rim? i know that the 215's are 8.5in. wide, but will they still work on that rim, or do they need to be on a 7in rim and will i have to buy new tires . ? thanx in advance.

Why don;t you get one and test fit it on your car?. just put onthe bare rim. spin it around and make sure it does not hit anything and it spins freely.

Yes the tire should work fine on those rims.

thanx guys, thats a good idea and i'll probably do it tomorrow. OH, and the car isn't particuarlly slow, just not fast. I love the shift kit and vette servo, with the line pressure boosted it'll chirp em' wide into second, very nice. But i just had to be careful on who i picked on (don't really street race anymore). There were osome i'd take, but most, eh, they'd walk on em. but it was all fun.
