Tire ?
Tire ?
Has anyone tried Yokohama Avid S/T's? Got them for $43 /piece from Tire Rack.com and they seem pretty sweet. Seem to grip better and be more stiff than my Firehawk SS20's were. You can actuall feel how much softer they are too.....I can hear them pick up stuff from the road when I heat them up. Couldn't do that with my SS20's or my Daytona's. Just figured I'd see if anyone else used them and what they thought.

Yea, I had a set on the Camaro a little while back. They were OK but dident last very long. They wear out alot quicker than BFG's, I think I only got about 15k out the the Yokohama's but there was a reason

Those are the exact tires I have! I don't really know about longevity but I've had them on for 8000 miles now and they still look new. Plus since I bought them at Discount tire, I have an 80000 mile warranty on them! I paid 45 dollars a piece and the warranty was a little more but who cares! I think they are much better than my old goodyear conquests. They grip a HELL of a lot better! Good tire for the price I think.
