Flywheel

My flywheel broke on my car thus causing it not to start, What's the easiest way to getting at it and changing this?? The mechanic said he has to take the transmission out, Holy **** really?? Let me know

Yup the trany needs to be moved out of the way. No way around it. It conects to the trany.
