HOW MUCH BARTERING DO YOU WANT TO DO TO DO THIS SWAP FOR FREE?
IF you can give that type of answer, you can do that swap for dirt cheap.
Find a wrecked V-8 car, steal the whole car, insert it into your V-6 engine/tranny bay ride, mix & match suspension, you're done.
Leagally, it should be fine. DOUBLE CHECK YOUR STATE SMOG STUFF.
Insurance, hell, long as your don't show them......
For the $$$$ for hopping up that 82-84 V-6..... You can buy that whole previously running wrecked V-8 Fbody and start swapping away.
Everything will fit, and modify as necessary.
ANY 350 V-8 will do, but, to make it run great, work with the smog stuff. Then, it'll be hassle free ride, for a long time.
It's your effort, it's your ride, do it what ya want.
Start searching & phoning!
Or dump the V-6 & find a V-8 car to buy/work on. You can find those intact V-8 rides dirt cheap, too!!
