Getting 86 TA 5.0L TPI

Yes, I went and checked out that TA again today with my dad, drove it around some more, and wow that thing can move. But I did notice that It needs some new lines, like the gas line needs to be replaced, that will be cheap and needs a new power sterring line, which is also realy cheap. I talked him down to $625 w/ me using my owns rims and tires, since I got the 15inch Firebird rims. He had twp xtra doors,, but they are manual so not sure if I'll take them since the car is power windows. He wants $50 per door which is ok, but one door has some bondo and is a little dented. So the cars going to need new PS lines, a fuel line($45 for lines), new rear quarter panels ($110 each), new doors ($50 each), TA Nose piece ($75 which he can get) and a good sanding with a good cleaning. I noticed the engine had an ACCEL supercoil with 8mm wires. I plan on working on this car over the summer. The TA gots a rebuilt auto tranny that shifts so smoothly, car moves so fast too. The cars also going to eventually need a few interior stuff too. But I think I may put in a 4th gen interior, and needs new headline which is cheap too. I figure After about $500 and then I'll get that paint job the car will be perfect. I'm probly get some headers for it, which I can get for $100, and I'm thinking about putting a 4th gen spoilier and RAII hood which would look sweet since the car is grey also.

Well heres the specs on the car:
120K miles
5.0TPI first year for them
sivler
145mph dash
rebuilt 700r4 auto
buying for $625

Proving once again, hard looking results in a cheap good foundation of a car.

The TPI 305 came out in 85, not 86.

Also, beware in 86 the LB9 got the peanut cam.

My Bad guys, 85 huh wow. SO the cam is small or what. Also If I put on a RAII hood I wanan make it functional, and if I make a air box how do I use the MAF sensor with that type of setup since I wouldn't have enough room.

Sweet. I am running gas lines now. $17 I buy the line and flare them myself(a piece canadian).

Man some day I will have a V-8 car. But Insurance and gas is too out of reach for that yet.

Why a RHS 334?
Hell for $149, you can buy a 350 engine rebuild kit. Pistons, cam, etc, everything!
350's are almost free these days.
WHY START WITH A SMALL THING!
