What does it mean when....

I'm driving my car for a while and when I turn it off and try to turn it on again it doesn't even wanna crank,it just sits there? Is it cause my starter is going bad? I changed the igniton module already,I got a new cap, rotor, sparkplugs, wires, and the battery gauge says i got power and my lights can come on too. Please guys help me out it started a while back dont know when actually.

Check out the thread already on this page, about "Hot Start Problems"....it's fixable with a remote solenoid, instructions on how to do taht can be found here https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...threadid=98091 and also, I believe there's a tech article about it, if you look.

a while back i had a problem where i was able to turn the key into the off postion, take it out and the car would still be running. sometimes i would also go to start the car and it nothing would happen, it wouldn't even crank. meanwhile mostly all my ignition part had been upgraded, and starter and alternator already had been replaced. so i sent to a mechanic, and a lot of people here mention the it could be my ignition switch (located in the steering column). well that was replaced, and it didn't solve the problem....it ended up having something to do with the the knuckle where the wheel meets the column. just a heads up about some of the internal components of the steering column.

does it ALWAYS start cold, and have you only noticed the problem when the engine is warm and has already been running.

It always starts cold and It only happens if its hot. Like I was driving in traffic and I stopped at my bank to cash a check... well when I was ready to leave the f ucking car wouldn start. So i left it there for 5 maybe even ten minutes and then I get in to turn the key and there it fires up.

Really?
CHECK WIRES AT STARTER!!
Clean all the grease around there.
Check all batery connections.
Even tug on them, could be fragile. Heat & fragile wiring = lousy starting.
Check others "work", you MAY see problem.
CLEAN & CHECK, then buy QUALITY starter

What year is the car? Do you have VATS? Does it ever "not crank" when it's cold? If VATS was acting up, you'd also have the occasional no-crank when the car was sitting overnight.
