Re: 20in on 3rd gens....

I think 17s look damn good on third gens. Personally I feel like anything bigger looks trashy, especially 20+. And that rule doesn't just apply for third gens but fbodys in general to me. I also feel that 15sI look bad imo. But that's just my opinion. Yeah I hate even looking at fbodys with 20s, can't stand it, but when it comes down to it its not my car so who cares what I think. Im sure somebody thinks my taste is disgusting.

I have 17" Vette rims and while I think they are ok bigger rims would look way better. Nothing worse than buying some rims and then thinking you shoulda got something bigger.

I can't stand the huge fat tire look. If the car is built for the dragstrip then fine. All you guys saying the ride will be horrible you do realize that we are talking about thirdgens? They ride like **** compared to newer cars anyway. I say do 20's if it's a good looking rim.

I agree with you. IMHO 3rd Gens are so long and the wheel wells are so big that 20in wheels look perfect on them and they actually look proportionate to the car. It all depends on personal taste. I've seen some really bad wheel choices but some really good ones too. I plan on purchasing black powder coated 5th gen wheels soon. I'm sure I'll get lots of hate for it, but it's my car.
